2000 Top Genes SaleThank you to all our buyers for a very successful 2000 Top Genes Sale! We would like to thank everyone who attended the sale in person or through the use of the sight unseen program. We appreciate the confidence shown in our cattle and breeding program. High selling 2 yr old Red Angus was a Red Koran 83E son Red Koran Hyde 117H who sold for $4200 to G Double Bar Farms from Bordon, Saskatchewan. The second highest selling 2 yr old was Red Koran Hammer 131H, another Red Koran 83E son, sold for $4100 to David Gray of Marsden, Saskatchewan. High selling yearling was Red Koran Jet 262 J, a Red Koran Griffen 147G son, who sold for $4000 to Data Ranch, Makwa, Saskatchewan. The second high seller was Red Koran Juno 176J, a Red Rolling Thunder 5G son, who sold to Windmill Farms, Arrowwood, Alberta for $3800. Koran has a select group of bulls in the yard for sale by private treaty. These are heifer bulls with moderate birth weights and average performance.
